Running through both sides of the Mansion for what seemed like an endless amount of time, facing the idea of betrayal or distrust or doubt, having to worry about his mirror and his intentions, having to worry just as much about the safety of his friends during the event and while he was without his Evoker, and then to have it... work out somehow in some strange way despite it all with a friend, someone whom he had wanted to protect, and someone whom he now had even more reason to protect with his life.
He looked out over to the ocean as well, in the same direction she had. His vision had been getting a little blurry. He knew the feeling well, it was similar to the one he had before when he was on another rooftop not too long ago.
It didn't take long for him after the realization to lay down on his back beside her, let everything go, and fall asleep.]
