[Rei is sitting on the roof with a book. It's sitting to the side with a pencil laid across the open pages. She's busily typing a messages into her device, then taking a few moments to look into the distance and enjoy the sun and the breeze before typing a new message.

She'll be up there all day. It's too crowded inside, but she won't be bothered by company.

I mean, is she ever bothered by anything?]

It has this big skirt and... bare shoulders. [She's not really sure why she's talking about this. Or why she feels so bothered. But there you have it.]

[Oh yes. She spoke to Eve once. She actually frowns slightly, thinking about it.]

Rei, there's nothing we can do. I'm not worried about the dying thing, I'm worried about... you know, how painful it will be. I shouldn't even be scared. I can't fight back. [And this is suddenly all pouring out, quick and fearfully.]
